Dallas, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - John Klingberg scored twice as the Dallas Stars ended a four-game skid with a 5-4 victory over the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday. Erik Cole and Ales Hemsky each tallied a goal and an assist and Trevor Daley also lit the lamp for the Stars, who have earned points in 11 of their last 12 games against the Senators. I thought it was a really hard battle to stay in there and come back with that second period, Stars head coach Lindy Ruff said. Everybody dug in and found a way to win. Anders Lindback stopped 34-of-36 shots after Kari Lehtonen gave up two goals on five shots early in the game. Mike Hoffman, Jared Cowen. Clarke MacArthur and Milan Michalek all scored for the Senators, who have lost four of their last five. We got sloppy, Senators head coach Dave Cameron said. Its tough when you give up four in the second to come back against anybody. Robin Lehner allowed all five goals on 29 shots in defeat. Dallas seized control of the game with a four-goal second period. Daley beat Lehner with a rising slap shot from the point and Klingbergs wrister off the rush made it a 3-3 game at 8:42. Cole gave the Stars the lead after he tipped in Alex Goligoskis point shot on the power play and Klingberg capped the frenetic frame with his second of the night, a snap shot from the edge of the right circle for a 5-3 lead with nine seconds remaining in the middle stanza. Ottawa got within a goal after Michalek whacked a loose puck into the net off a scrum in front six minutes into the third. The Senators pulled Lehner with under two minutes to play, but were unable to net the equalizer. Hoffman took a stretch pass from Bobby Ryan in the neutral zone, raced into the Dallas zone up the right side and wristed a shot that beat Lehtonen stick side for an early Ottawa lead 4:57 into the first. The Senators took a 2-0 lead on the power play as David Legwand slid a pass over to MacArthur, who wristed a shot past Lehtonens blocker at 10:30 of the opening stanza, chasing Lehtonen from the game. Hemsky got the Stars on the board with a blast from the right side with 3:52 to play in the first, but Cowen countered with a wrister 1:47 later to restore Ottawas two-goal lead.
